Ana watched as Ambrose stomped his way out the door, slamming it as he left. From the window near the door, she could see Ambrose standing in a "T" pose outside.

"Straighten those arms, Riese!" Mr. Cane ordered when he noticed Ambrose slightly lowering his arms.

"Poor Ambrose," Ana muttered.

Mr. Cane continued his lecture and Ana could feel her eyes close subconsciously. She willed herself to stay awake with all her strength. Ana blinked her eyes furiously in an attempt to lose her sleepiness but to no avail. Mr. Cnae's voice could be a cure for insomnia–anyone would fall asleep.
