Chapter 25: A Little Taste Of His Medicine - 2

Kane stared at what was going on as he was toward the back of the feasting room. There were about twelve feral vampires in the room and within seconds they had devoured and bitten about five humans and seven vampires. It was a scene that Kane had never imagined that he would witness. However, as he looked on, a sinister smile spread across his face.

One of the common vampires fretfully came to stand where the prince was and spoke in a loud voice so that he could be heard over the chaos.

"My prince… we have to get out of here!" the vampire said.

But Kane paid no attention to him. He was observing things and had noticed that the vampires that had been bitten were now contorting on the floor, moving and twisting at odd angles as if struggling to come back to life. One of them eventually got up and turned its head, snarling in Kane's direction with the distinct green liquid spilling out of its mouth.
