After they finished breakfast, they both headed to work.

Upon arriving at the East Mansion, Xiao Yichen exited the elevator and spotted Xu Yanxi in the reception area outside the office.

Xiao Yichen's frowned upon seeing her.

"Chen, you're here," Xu Yanxi cheerily called out as she walked towards him.

She reached for his arm and said warmly, "It's been so long. Have you missed me?"

"No," Xiao Yichen replied bluntly. He attempted to free his arm from her grasp, but it proved difficult.

Xu Yanxi's expression soured upon hearing his response. Her face displayed a hint of anger as she pouted and spoke coquettishly, "I missed you a lot."

Xiao Yichen regarded her impatiently and asked, "Why are you here?"
