( Mikasa Pov )
' Warm' was what I felt waking up in Yuto's jacket. Getting up from bed and getting ready, I walked out of my room to find Mrs. Yeager in the kitchen.
Mrs Yeager:" Good morning, Mikasa. Can you wake up Eren, we need more firewood."
" Good morning, Mrs Yeager, I'll wake him up now."
Going to Erens room, I opened the door to find Eren still sleeping.
Remembering Yutos words on how to wake Eren up.
Yuto:' eh, just punch him or something.'
I'm raising my fist, letting it fall on Erens head.
Eren:" Gahh!!"
* A while later ,*
We're eating breakfast at the table, and Eren had a bump on his head.
Eren:" You could've just woken me up like a normal person." Still upset on how I woke him up.
Mrs Yeager:" Oh please, you sleep like a log, Eren."
Mikasa:" Yuto told me to that's how to wake you up."
Eren:" Tch, bastard is probably laughing somewhere."
Mrs Yeager:" Hm, now that you mention him, where is Yuto."
Misaka:" He said something about moving."
Mrs. Yeager:" Oh, where is he moving?"
Eren:" I don't know." He shrugged
*Knock Knock*
There was a knock on the door, and Mrs Yeager answered the door.
Mrs Yeager:" Yuto, come inside, we're just having breakfast."
Yuto:" Oh, thank you." Shaking off the snow on his jacket, he took it off and his shoes by the door.
Seeing him gracefully wipe off the excess snow, my heart started to pound in my chest. I always wonder if his parents were nobles seeing how he carried himself.
" Good morning, Yuto." I spoke calmly as I could.
With a graceful smile, he replied.
Yuto:" Good morning, Misaka. Oh, did you take my advice on waking up Eren."
Nodding my head as Eren blamed Yuto.
Eren:" So it was you!! You could've asked Misaka to wake me up normally."
Yuto:" Normally?? I wouldn't be surprised if the house was on fire and you'd still be sleeping."
Eren:" That's not true!!"
Mrs. Yeager:" I agree with Yuto there."
Eren:" Mom!!?"
Yuto:" Ahahaha!!"
Seeing them bickering at each other it always brings a smile to my face.
Yuto:" Oh, Misaka, you're smiling, It's quite charming."
Controlling my face to cool down and pulling the collar of the jacket to cover my face.
Mrs. Yeager:" Now don't bully Misaka, Yuto."
Yuto:" Eh, why not? she does have a beautiful smile." He spoke as my face turned more hotter.
Yuto sat down on the table as Mrs. Yeager gave him some breakfast as well.
Mr. Yeager:" I'm home!"
The door opened to reveal Mr. Yeager who stayed the night at Wall Rose for medical purposes.
Mrs. Yeager:" Welcome home, let me get your jacket off."
Mr. Yeager:" Ah, yes, thank you, carla."
The married couple smiled at each other as they both were in their own world. Looking at Yuto, he was staring outside of the window looking at the falling snow.
Yuto:" Hm?" Seeing Yuto turn his head, I looked back at my food and tried to act normal.
Yuto:" Hmmm?? is there something on my face, Mikasa?"
Eren:" Yeah, those stupid sunglasses. Why do you wear them?" He butted in.
Yuto:" Because I look cool, and you're just jealous that I look cool in them."
Eren:" Uh huh, yeah, sure."
Mr. Yeager:" Oh yes, Yuto, did something happen? I noticed workers were putting your belongings in the house next door."
Yuto:" Oh, right! Everyone, I'm officially moving next door alone. My parents already agreed for some weird reason."
Eren:" Woah!! really!!?"
" Can I come over?"
Yuto:" Of course!"
Mrs. Yeager:" But you should be back before nighttime, alright?"
" I understand." I nodded, happy that I'll be able to see Yuto more often.
Mrs. Yeager:" Could you two help Eren picking up firewood, we're running low already."
Yuto:" Sure, I don't mind."
" Alright."
'If Yuto is going, then I'll go with him.'
After breakfast, we went out to get more firewood. As we walked past the marketplace, Yuto stopped at a vendor.
Yuto:" Excuse me, but how much for this?"
He asked the merchant as Yuto picked up a red scarf.
Merchant:" That it'll be 12.50."
' A rip off'
Yuto:" Here you go."
' Sigh, Yuto is so kind, I'm sure he knew he was being ripped off but didn't care.'
Yuto walked towards me, confused why he was approaching me, I felt the scarf wrap around my neck and Yuto tidying up the scarf.
Yuto:" There you go, now come on, let's go before Eren starts making a scene."
Eren:" Hey!!! what's taking you guys so long!!?"
Yuto:" Oops, it seems we're too late."
Chuckling along with Yuto as we caught up with Eren.
' I wish everything would stay like this forever.'
How wrong was I at the time, but as long as I had Yuto with me, I'm sure everything would be fine, as long as I'm with him.
( Yuto Pov )
" Ah, my backs killing me, I think I'm getting too old for this." I spoke as I stretched.
Carla:" Old? you're 9 years old, young man."
Eren:" Yeah, Misaka could carry a lot more."
" I think I'm going to retire in my early 20s,"
Grisha:" Good luck with that." He spoke from the table as he read a newspaper.
Carla:" Could you put some firewood into the fireplace for me 'old man'?"
" Old man, speak for yo..."
Carla:" Don't you dare finish that sentence."
Putting my hands in a surrender, I put the firewood into the fireplace.
Eren:" Pft, you got scared."
" Ahem, you know Carla, eren didn't..."
Eren:" SSHHHH!!!!" covering my mouth from finishing, I looked into his eyes that pleaded not to rat him out.
Misaka:" Eren didn't help again."
Eren:" Mikasa!!!!??" Eren felt betrayed.
Carla:" Is that so??"
Eren:" Nope, I helped right, Yuto?" Looking at me for help. I turned my face away.
Carla:" Don't bother, your ears turn red when you're lying. I'll deal with you later."
Eren looked devastated. Paying his shoulder, I spoke.
" I'll pray for you."
A few minutes after Eren got his punishment, I was holding a cat outside that had a note on its back.
' Hmm, Kenny is looking for Rod Reiss. The puppet king is still useless as ever. Everything should be fine for the next six months, but I should move the cats to the other walls before the fall of Wall Maria.'
I managed to create an information network with cats and able to collect and sell information in the underworld and black market. Gaining the name, The Cat, as when they received information, it was cats that delivered them.
Putting the paper back into the small backpack of the cat.
" Here you go, little guy. Now run on home, you're done for the day."
Cat:" Meow, purr."
The cat ran away after being dismissed.
' Well, the only thing to do is wait now.'
Going back inside of the Yeager house. I find Misaka waiting for me. She looked comfy in her jacket. I gave her and her new scarf.
Smiling at her as I caught her looking, she shyly looked away.
' I geuss the only thing to do is enjoy the time I have with them.'
