The first thing Lister did after arriving at his office was to investigate about the Roman empire. Everyone knew what mercenaries were since they existed in almost every historic period of humanity, but Lister didn't think Uriel was being pedantic or redundant when he mentioned the Roman empire. He didn't know the reason why the sound of Uriel's voice kept lingering inside his head, but it somehow felt like a veiled threat.

"There it is, let's see..." Lister fumbled to himself as he skimmed through the website.

"Can I be of assistance, Mister governor?" Halstead asked after pouring a cup of coffee for Lister who remained silent until his eyes widened.

"This bastard... he's good." Lister nodded to himself.

"If you say so, Sir." The bearded secretary shrugged.
