Chapter 43: She said she was sorry.

Heaven and Dominic's first morning together wasn't a wonderful memory to look back on. Their breakfast at that time was divorced, and Heaven ended up fainting. The second morning wasn't any better because she signed the divorce papers and then Old Madam Zhu fainted.

The third one wasn't so bad.

Heaven pressed her lips into a thin line, gazing at her husband sitting on the head seat. She was on his right, having a meal together.

'What a morning,' she thought, smiling as she shifted her focus to her plate. 'So peaceful… so gold.'

Peace dominated her face, enjoying her breakfast. Although she wasn't confident her marriage was saved, this peace made her feel she was making progress. Fortunately, Dominic was a man of his word and he was quite laid back, giving her a chance to show her sincerity.

He was truly a generous man — not only in terms of material things but also generous in other areas.
