Chapter 78: Bunch of bullies

The two canisters began to vibrate simultaneously, pulsating with an ominous glow. The next second an intense wave of black energy erupted, enveloping the immediate vicinity.

The battlefield was shrouded in a sphere of utter darkness, the penetrating black energy swallowing everything in its path. Well, not everything.

Kaden watched as his [Sentinel's Protection] activated. A blue mana barrier formed around him and encased him like an egg shell.

To his surprise, four other mana barriers also lit up in the area, the five blue bubbles standing out in the otherwise utterly decimated region.

When the blast subsided, there was nothing left standing.

Dust, debris, sand, cement, everything was swallowed up, only leaving behind the five players who had all activated their [Sentinel's Protection]. The five players were essentially standing naked in the field of nothing with nowhere to hide.
