Chapter 162: Whose End Is Near?

"You are saving him for Cassandra?" The word left a bitter taste in his mouth. If he had known that his own sister would try to harm his son, he would have sent her to a faraway place from where she could never approach them.

"It would be dangerous to act out freely. What if she had hidden him somewhere else? If we are criminals, they could kill him to get rid of the evidence." Nick explained, surprised that Cassian did not deduce it.

He was a smart person to know this much himself but it looks like the emotions of father were weighing about a knight.

"You need to go to the prison in the meantime." Nick walked into the room and sat on the dining table. He did not have any food and neither did Mary since Cassian ruined their morning.

He picked up the sandwich and placed it in his mouth. Taking a bite when the cheese fell off his lips, he locked and enjoyed the sour cream and cheese flavor.
