Chapter 117: Stay With Him

Nicholas was shocked to see Mary. He knew that she did not recognize her but to think that she had come this far to save Cassian! His eyes narrowed at her.

"Why are you here? I will handle this matter." Cassian ran to cover her from Nicholas' gaze and frowned at her.

"Tsk! I saw how competently you were handling it." She scoffed but still, she did not want him to suffer at the hands of Nicholas. She would take revenge on him later, "I have a way to know about the poison. If you want to save his majesty, you can come with me." 

Cassian nodded in agreement as he looked at her confident eyes.

Martin was shocked by the sudden announcement and ran to his master at once.

"My Lord, it is not that easy. If we gave the wrong antidote, your majesty could die instead," He warned as he looked at her woman in confusion. He knew she was the future duchess but he had never heard that she knew medicine.
