Chapter 402: Bioluminescent Fungi

The bioluminescent fungi cast an eerie glow, creating an otherworldly atmosphere in the underground passage. But in Shi Tian's mind, the bioluminescent fungi were currently the most dangerous entity in the area. 

'The more beautiful something is, the more dangerous it tends to be.' He thought to himself, not daring to underestimate the underground passage. 

At first, he thought the underground expedition would be fairly easy, considering how all the commanders had simultaneously decided to exterminate them once and for all.

However, that kind of mindset and underestimation was precisely why they had already attained a casualty. 

To make things worse, they aren't exactly sure how the casualty occurred in the first place. 

"Commander Phoebe, this is just my intuition, but I think these fungi are quite suspicious." Shi Tian voiced his opinion to her.
