Chapter 51: Black Ferret

Her hands touched something wet, soft and fluffy which seemed very fragile and light as she lifted it up.

Despite her grabbing hold of it suddenly, it did not possess enough strength within itself to make any threatening noises or to attempt resisting.

Its breathing was very weak and it could barely keep its eyes open as it was brought back into the light from within the dark and dirty dumpster.

It kept letting out some light coughing and groaning noises like it was in a great amount of pain.

What Ash saw clearly when she had pulled it out was a black ferret that had been beaten severely and was dying.

Its black fur was full of blood and other mess from within the dumpster while there was a smaller piece of bone sticking out from its body.

Ash may of not been a vet who could determine the condition of the ferret but even she could tell that the ferret was unable to hold on for too long. ".."
