Chapter 41: Tug

Ash moved closer before letting out a loud shout. "Over here! Over here!"

Her voice was raised as much as she could let out allowing it to spread out in her surroundings.

She was hoping that someone would be close by and would hear her so that they could come as quickly as possible.

Her voice had startled the white deed spirit causing it to take a step back as its whole body language became more cautious. "Pfft!"

Ash continued to train her gaze away from its larger form as she focussed on the child who had become started by her shout too.

The child turned their head towards her before letting out a cry as tears spilled down their face. "Uwaa! Help… wa!"

Ash approached the child taking careful steps around until she was unable to get any closer or at a better angle.
