Maya was certain that after some intimacy earlier, she wouldn't be able to so easily escape Nate, and she was right.

The moment he closed the door behind him, he lifted her and made her sit on his lap.

"The cottage," Nate ordered as he pressed a button raising a privacy divider between the driver and bodyguard and them.

"Nate—" Maya knew those dividers were not soundproof.
