Chapter 49: Chapter 49 Clash of Blades and Magic

Veer awakens at 6 in the morning, sensing a well-rounded energy in his mana core, internal energy core, and golden core. Knowing it might take a month to climb to the next rank, Veer worries about becoming stronger quickly.

While lost in thought, Veer detects commotion in Raj Surya's tent. He prepares to follow, and after about 10 minutes, a 10-meter-long wall collapses. Five individuals flee westward, prompting Veer to join the pursuit.

After 20 minutes, they reach an open mountainous area with a ditch. Veer, observing from a distance using his mental power, ponders their purpose. Suddenly, the sound of a man's footsteps emanates from the opposite side of the moat. Raj and his bodyguards turn their gaze in that direction. As the man approaches, Raj Surya addresses him.

"So, you're John Weeks," Raj says.

"Yes."

"Why didn't you eliminate him personally instead of hiring a reckless assassin and putting my money with Lucky?" Raj Surya shouts angrily.
