Chapter 275: THE FEAST

Magdalene could hear the sounds of distant laughter and music From where the feast was held. She was dressed in a green ball gown and simple jewelries adorning her neck. She thought of checking on Lucas since he hadn't been out of the study. She paced about trying to make a decision on checking on him or not. She later decided against it, he wasn't in his best mood and it was better that she didn't disturb.

Magdalene got to the hall and gently pushed open the door. The long table was filled with guest initiating small talks waiting for her and Lucas arrival.
