Chapter 99: Chapter 93- I won

Watching someone grow while battling could never seem boring for Haru.

His Sunbae danced across the battlefield while dispatching several of the stone statues in his way with utter efficiency. Using the staff to the fullest, Jin-Woo was making the battle seem on equal terms.

Initially, Jin-Woo was having a hard time facing numerous beings targeting him, despite knowing that a comrade of his was standing to guard his back. Jin-Woo knew that if Haru wanted then he could conclude this battle within seconds, but the fact he chose not to, signified how he was respecting Jin-Woo's choice to let him handle this on his own.

'I could feel...' Jin-Woo had already discerned the fact that compared to when he used his summoning skill, he was growing much faster now, that he had to fight with his bare hand; all alone.

**SHIIIIIIUN**

Jin-Woo's eyes widened as he heard something alarming advancing toward him, before jumping on instincts. And just as he thought, a golden ray passed through the spot where he stood a moment ago, leaving nothing but debris behind.

Jin-Woo clenched his fist before turning his attention toward the biggest statue in the temple. He personally disliked this one.

'I need to reach it...' Sensing another beam advancing, Jin-Woo raised his hand and used his skill, [Dominator's Touch] to gather several stone soldiers in front of him as a shield.

[Alert!]

[Dominator's touch has reached its maximum potential.]

[Dominator's Touch-> Ruler's Authority]

The deathly beam targeting Jin-Woo struck the soldiers; erasing their existence into nothingness.

However, that shield wasn't enough to protect Jin-Woo and in a hurry, Jin-Woo raised the size and girth of his bo staff and planted it on the ground.

"Damn!" Jin-Woo might be hallucinating but somehow he heard Haru exclaiming in surprise upon seeing the bo staff reflecting the beam of the God statue in several directions.

'Alright, it's durable.' Jin-Woo grinned at that before he left his bo staff right at the spot and vanished into thin air.

His target was none other than the big statue. He just wanted to bash that thing's head, into bits and crumbs now.

"Ah, the officers of the monitoring unit are here!" The bespectacled administrator of the gate which Hunter Sung Jin-Woo entered some minutes ago, exclaimed upon seeing Woo Jin-Chul and his team.

The information that arrived from the renowned S-ranked hunter was that this gate was a double dungeon and as such, the requirement of backup increased exponentially.

"Please start the evacuation. I will take things under my authority from here on." Hearing Jin-Chul's commanding voice, the other officers straightened their backs and nodded in assent.

However, just as the orange-haired man took a step inside the gate, his body froze at the spot and his face turned extremely pale.

It felt like the Death Reaper had come to claim his life. The feeling of death never felt this vivid for him ever before.

"Don't you guys feel it?" Seeing the lack of reaction from his comrades, Jin-Chul discerned that only he could sense the fluctuating magical energy from the inside before he asked his team to contact the nearest guild for assistance.

It turned out that the Hunters Guild was organizing an A-rank gate raid under the supervision of both S-rank hunters—Choi Jong-In and Cha Hae-In, just some blocks away from here.

Fixing his gaze back at the dungeon, Woo Jin-Chul couldn't help but ask,

'Just who are you, Sung Jin-Woo?'

(A/N: Creator->Architect)

[This is your final test! Come at me with your all in the remaining time!]

Upon hearing the provocative words from the peculiar statue with numerous arms, Jin-Woo refrained from reacting impulsively. Instead, exhaling a heavy breath, he leaped towards his right to skillfully evade the Creator.

A substantial crater marked the spot where Jin-Woo had previously stood, a testament to the intensity of the assault from the inhumane.

Summoning his daggers, Jin-Woo observed the figure of the statue emerging from the dissipating dust cloud, swiftly closing in on him. In the brief moments of exchanging blows, Jin-Woo discerned the Creator's impressive speed and strength.

Crouching with precision, Jin-Woo narrowly evaded the oncoming axe aimed at his neck. Swiftly, he wielded his daggers to counter the Creator's descending hammer, aimed directly at Jin-Woo's head.

Pressed for time, Jin-Woo swiftly employed the staff as an extension, endeavoring to unbalance the Creator and disrupt its stance.

While the statue managed to avoid complete collapse, it indeed lost its footing, providing Jin-Woo the opportunity to summon his bo staff and deliver a precise strike to the left uppermost arm of the Creator.

[Kheuk!]

The Creator screeched as it never expected a human to be this capable.

In a single fluid motion, the Creator earned distance between itself and Jin-Woo, simultaneously directing its stone soldiers toward its adversary.

In frustration, Jin-Woo clenched his jaw and lifted his weapon, forcefully thumping it against the ground. The resulting tremor resonated through the area, causing all the stone soldiers to collapse simultaneously.

He knew it wasn't enough so using his newly updated skill, [Ruler's Authority] he pressed all the soldiers deep inside the ground without leaving any room for recovery.

"I've had enough," Jin-Woo declared. Lifting his celestial weapon and gripping it near the middle, he aimed at the Creator. Channeling every ounce of his strength, he propelled the bo staff towards his adversary.

**FIUUUUUUU**

The Creator widened its featureless eye and extended all its weapons to block the bo staff...but to no avail.

**DHAK**

The bo staff not only pierced through all of the Creator's defenses but also penetrated its body, propelling it across the temple. Finally, the Creator was left suspended on the wall, reminiscent of a hanging coat.

The Creator never had a chance to pull out the staff and free itself before it felt the cold metal of Jin-Woo's dagger pressed against its neck and the chilly gaze of the Vessel staring at it.

"It's over."

The Creator remained silent for a moment before it dropped all the weapons and surrendered,

[You won.]

A/N:- I know it was more or less like what happened in the plot but well, I wanted to add what changed with the addition of the heavenly weapon of Jin Mori.
