Chapter 95: Feeding Laevatein and Choices.
Once he returned to his Volcano, he sat down on the couch in his room along with Grimnar and Leman. As he sat down, he placed his hand over his chest as he could feel his two Hearts and Core working just fine.
The three Organs did the same thing, produce energy, but it was extra special to him. As a Dragon God, his unique Dragon Hearts produced Divine Energy instead of Mana. But his Dragon Hearts also infused his Divine Energy with Void Energy increasing the potency of it and giving him the powers of a creature from the Void.
His Void Infused Divine Energy was then infused with Conceptual Energy from his Concept of Tyranny which then went into fueling him. But now, his two Dragon Demon Hearts and new Demon Dragon Core were not making Divinity anymore.
They were perfectly blending Infernity, the Demon Equivalent of Divine Energy, and the Divinity of a Dragon together along with stronger Void Energy after him eating the Fruit of Ascension.
And just like before, his Concept which had been upgraded was producing stronger energy that then infused his new energy causing his strength to begin to rise passively as he was making more energy than he used.
When he opened his eyes he grinned as this was the upgrade he needed as he felt all his bases were improved many times over.
"Now this is power."
[Yes it is. I have to say, seeing how far you have gone still makes me proud. And I and Albion have already surpassed our old peaks many times over with all the energy we are gaining from being soul linked to you.]
{True. And don't get me started on the Fruit of Ascension. I truly hope you can grow more of those because I want one.}
'I agree with the Dragons Master. But while we are here, what do you plan to do with the Sacred Gears you stole and the Spirits? or the Demon Swords?'
He smiled as he held his hand open and brought out his own Symbol of Power, Laevatein. He ran his hand down the blade that he rarely used as he now just fused with his weapon rather than use it. He would begin to change that as not every foe deserved him to go all out.
"Tell me, you feeling hungry Laevatein?"
If Laevatein could, he would be grinning from ear to ear.
"Yes."
Maulketh brought out the True Longinous from one of his Spatial Rings. He could feel the Will of God inside was comparable to the two he took out of the Heaven and Sacred Gear systems.
It tried to fight back against him, but he ignored it.
"Down the hatch."
He placed the True Longinous against the flat side of Laevatein's giant black blade and saw how the metal that made up his body began to look more liquid. The spear which pierced the side of Jesus Christ gave it extreme Holy Energy and also God Killing Effects.
Now that he was a Demonic Dragon God, Laevatein also began to feed on this superior Energy which normally would have meant they would become weak to Holy Energy. However, his Concept did not allow any weakness to remain and removed this from him.
Once his sword had devoured the True Longinous, he did not have to wait very long before he felt the changes happening to his sword. First of all, through their link, he felt very pure Holy Energy flow through both of them.
He was immune to any negative effects, but he still groaned in disgust.
"Gross."
[I feel like I am going to be sick.]
{If I had a body, I think I would puke.}
Laevatein yelled at the three of them.
"HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL? NASTY!"
Light and Holy magic were not going to be weaknesses to them, but the general feeling of it was the total opposite to Maulketh Energy which was made of the total opposite of Holy. Dragon and Demon.
Either way, he watched as Laevatein's Black and Red blade seemed to gain a few dark gold outlines. That was it, but the powers that his sword could use were now going to be more varied.
"Ready for more?"
"Ready."
He pulled out Balmung, the Demon Sword, and without waiting fed it to Laevatein. When the sword was devoured, his sword seemed to be much more relaxed.
"Ah, Demonic Power, a much more yummy energy."
Maulketh did not stop and fed him Dáinsleif, Nothung, and Tyrfing, but when he pulled out Gram the Demon Emperor Sword, he stopped. Unlike the other Demon Swords that only had minor sentience, Gram was sentient.
He felt Gram send pulses of intent to him begging for its life. It could be useful, it could be stronger. It would serve him loyally. Normally, Maulketh would have ignored its pleas, as he does not show compassion or mercy to many.
But to him, a Red Dragon, Gram was eye catching for him. The sword's Dark Red and gold blade drew on his greed, but most of all, he saw real potentiol in this sword. He placed Leavetine on his lap allowing him to adjust to the new abilities he had.
He placed his hand on Gram and sent a Contract to the Soul of Gram. The sword instantly signed the contract, and once he did, Maulketh's Concept fell on the sword. The Demon Emperor Sword felt as if the Concept of Tyrrany was alive.
Every inch of the blade outside and in was scanned, even the soul of Gram. Once that was done, it felt a tidal wave of Energy flow into it as his Concept was upgrading the blade.
The metal that formed it was purified, its soul cleansed and empowered, and its Demonic Power fueled abilities were replaced with Infernity and Divinity. But most importantly, Void and Conceptual Energy were flowing through the Gram warping it causing the blade to glow an even Darker Red.
He raised both his swords in front of him as he just took in their majesty. He did plan to make a Second Symbol of Power, and it seemed he found it. As he gazed at both swords, the door to his room was kicked open as Ophis and Trihexa were rushing inside pulling at each other's clothes and hair.
Grimnar's three heads tilted at the display wondering why the women were being weird. But then he realized that women were always weird. As for Maulketh, he looked at the Dragon Goddess who were struggling against each other on the floor.
Trihexa was stronger as she had her Soul Mate bond with Maulketh and Ophis didn't. However, Ophis' Concept of Infinity gave her Infinite Energy, which went into fueling her strength. The issue came from how much of that Energy she could draw on.
Maulketh sighed.
"What now?"
Ophis and Trihexa could tell he was confused. Ophis got up and fixed her disheveled appearance.
"Nothing, we just wanted to be the first to give you the good news?"
Trihexa dusted herself off as she agreed.
"True. We have fully brought relative control to the World. With the World itself helping us, it was easy. Now the Pantheons are all not doing anything for the moment in fear that you will eat them all."
Maulketh hummed as he stored Gram and Leavetine in his soul once more. There, they could safely evolve in peace. As for Astrid and Celestine, it might take them a few more hours to wake up as the amount of energy they had was staggering.
"Good work both of you. Ophis come here please."
She smiled as she came to stand before him. He had to kneel down as she was only 5'6, to get at eye level with her.
"So, I got to fight you before you become mine?"
Ophis shook her head.
"No, we can do that later."
Both of them leaned forward and gently rested their heads against the other. Ophis' Soul and her Concept began to link up with Maulketh's and his Concept as he took her as his mate.
This was what was different as for the beast girls, he called them mates, and for the humanoid ones he called them his lovers. Just like with Trihexa, they each began to take aspects of each other's Concepts, but once again Maulketh showed just how monstrous his Concept was.
He took more from Ophis and now, he had access to at least three Concepts while Ophis and Trihexa only had two with their links to him. As for her, the access to the Concept of Tyrrany was also shocking at how strong it was.
"My goodness, you are strong."
He smiled at the genuine praise.
"I know. Oh right, here."
From his Spatial Rings, he pulled out two Fruits of Ascension and handed them one each.
"Here."
Ophis knew what this Fruit was as she had been the one to collect some of the things for it.
"They work?"
He nodded.
"Yes. They do. Now eat them and see just how good they are."
They did not wait more and began to eat the fruits they had been given. He watched silently as the same thing happened to them that happened to him. They were Ascending in power, their Concepts grew stronger, Ophis' Dragon Heart was enhanced, Trihexa's 7 Cores were upgraded, and their souls also got stronger.
The changes were going to be more shocking for them as they were weaker than he was, but now they would be bridging the gap. And while their Concepts grew stronger, he felt his own grow as well as it was linked to theirs.
'Did Trihexa feel the same when I ate the fruit? If she did, we three are going to be able to grow stronger together.'
The three of them were Dragon Gods so they were more compatible with each other. And now that they were Soul Mates with him and linked by their Concepts they would never be apart.
It was a nice feeling, watching his family grow stronger alongside him. The changes with Ophis and Trihexa went on for several more minutes as the Fruits effects seemed to work better on Dragon Gods as a Concept had made them so they worked best on Concepts.
Through their Soul Links, he got a general idea of the knowledge they had gained. For the most part, it was ways to better use their Concepts which sounded mundane, but better use of them would always be welcomed.
When they fully absorbed everything the Fruit could offer them, the burst of power that radiated off them caused him to reinforce his Castle with his Concept. Ophis exhaled a dark Energy of Infinity while Trihexa did the same for Destruction.
Once again forcing him to protect his castle.
"What is with you two trying to destroy my home? The Volcano Born live here."
He pointed out the Window at the Kin of Astrid. Ophis smiled.
"Sorry."
Trihexa also did the same.
"My bad. We will be more careful."
"Thanks. Now, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and now."
Several teleport circles appeared in his room from which all of his family members walked out. Runeas, Rias, Calypso, Ingvild, Valina, Tiamat, Akeno, Kimmi, Kuroka, Athena, and Shirone all appeared in his room.
If Astrid and Celestine were awake it would have been perfect, but he did not have to wait much longer as he could feel them stirring. Once everyone had arrived he stood up and gathered their attention.
"Alright. We have lots to discuss as you all need to get stronger, and I know several ways to achieve that. To start off with, all of you except Ophis and Trihexa are going to need to stop using Demonic Power. I now know what you Devils are and I will be blunt.
You are all just super diluted Demons. We will first focus on replacing your Demonic Power with proper Demon Mana and then Infernity, the Demon version of Divinity. Now, I have something for some of you."
