Chapter 9: Trapping The Soldiers
This clearly indicated that Mariner has now taken over the body of the soldier to fulfill his own sinister plan that he has made.
After taking over the body of the soldier, Mariner opened his eyes which in turn opened the eyes of the soldier.
And when the eyes of the soldier opened it has completely turned black and there was nothing else other than this black and dark eyes of his.
After that with those black eyes of his he began to check the body of the soldier and after checking all of that he told to himself.
Mariner: "Not bad. This body will do the work for me just fine until I can complete my plan."
Just as he was talking with himself at that moment he heard some foot steps coming towards him. So he immediately stopped his mouth and then he closed his eyes.
"TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP..."
Meanwhile the foot steps have now reached very close to Mariner and soon the foot steps stopped behind him and from there a voice called him out.
Voice: "Asif what are you doing here ?"
Asif is the name of the soldier whose body now Mariner has taken over and after hearing this name the soldier turned around and after turning around he saw that one soldier standing in front of him right now.
So without thinking about this much Asif told him,
Asif: "Nothing much I am just here for my daily round to see if everything is alright."
Soldier: "Okay let's go. Come with me."
Asif: "Where are we going right now ?"
Soldier: "Don't you know General Hamid has called has called us for a new mission."
Asif: "Okay sure let's go."
After hearing these words from the soldier, Mariner remembered that Aladdin has ordered General Hamid to send mid tier soldiers to deal with the bandtis.
And with that he has an evil grin on his face which the other soldier didn't see and the reason for which he has Asif is really very simple because Asif is among one of the mid tier soldiers of Agrabah.
So thinking about all of this in his mind Asif and the other soldier went straight towards the training ground where General Hamid has gathered all of the mid tier soldiers.
Soon both of them also reached at the training ground and after reaching there they both joined the other soldiers who are standing there in three lines.
After a few seconds of Asif and the other soldier stood in the line General Hamid entered in the training field and then he began to tell the mission which Sultan Aladdin has assigned them.
General Hamid: "My brave soldiers today we have gathered here to begin our journey towards our new mission. My brave soldiers today the Sultan has given all of you the new mission to exterminate the Bandits who are creating problems in the growth of our economy. So My brave soldiers are you ready to do this mission ? Are you all ready to kill all those Bandits who have made the lives of our people difficult ?"
After hearing the words and new mission from General Hamid, all the soldiers got fired up in their hearts and soon they all began to shout loudly to show their determination to do this new mission."
All The Soldiers: "Yes General we are ready. We are ready."
After seeing and hearing the excitement filled in the eyes of voices of the soldiers, General Hamid became very happy and then he began to create the team of soldiers for this mission.
General Hamid: "Soldiers I am very happy to see the excitement in each of you for this new mission. But all of you don't need to go to the mission. I have prepared a team of ten soldiers for this mission. So only these ten soldiers will go for the mission. Am I clear ?"
All The Soldiers: "Yes General."
After this General Hamid began to call out the names of the soldiers who will go to the mission and one by one General Hamid called out nine names of the soldiers.
And now only one name is remaining, one last spot in the mission team is remaining and for that last spot every soldier is looking forward for that.
And ending all anticipation and curiosity General Hamid took the last name.
General Hamid: "Okay so the last soldier to join the team for the mission is Asif."
After hearing his name Asif has a small smirk on his face as it is all going according to his plan. I mean according to the plan of the one who has taken over his body.
General: "Okay so the team has been formed and now from this very moment the team will set out for the southern desert region where the Bandits have taken over as their hideout and then they will exterminate them. Soldiers am I clear ?"
Special Team: "Yes General."
General Hamid: "Good now go and return alive and victorious."
Special Team: "Yes General."
After that the team of ten mid tier soldiers went straight towards the stable where ten horses are prepared for them.
Soon after reaching there they all sit up on the horses and began to rode them and with that the team set off towards their destination which is the southern desert region.
With immense vigor, confidence and braveness the nine soldiers of the special team traveled to the southern desert region while the last soldiers Asif has a calm and composing demeanor on his face which is hiding his true intention from everyone else.
With this all rode their horses for about thirty minutes and after these thirty minutes they all reached at the southern desert region.
After reaching there they all looked around everywhere to find the Bandits but all they could see and found are the widespread sand, sand dunes, and some mountains all around them.
Seeing this the leader of the team Arif told all of his fellow soldiers.
Arif: "Where are those sneaky Bandits have hidden themselves ? Everyone split up in two groups of five members and search every corner of this desert. We have to find those Bandits."
After hearing this order from the mouth of Arif, Asif just have a small smile on his face and then he closed his eyes.
And after he has closed his eyes Mariner who is inside Asif's body began to use his magical powers and from it he used his magical eyes which began to show him the location of all the Bandits hidden beneath the sand dunes and inside the caves of the mountains.
After finding the locations of the Bandits As8f opened his eyes and then he looked at Arif and told him.
Asif: "Wait Arif. There is no need to split up now in two teams."
Arif: "What are you saying Asif ? If we don't split up in two teams then how are we going to catch those Bandits."
Asif: "The reason why I am saying this is because I have found the location of the Bandits."
Hearing this all the soldiers began to look at Asif with a surprised look on their faces and then Arif asked him.
Arif: "Have you really found the location of the Bandits Asif ?"
Asif: "Yes Arif I have really found there location. All the Bandits are hiding inside that cave. We must go there at once and catch all of them."
Saying this Asif pointed out at a particular cave which is placed towards their right direction and then all of the soldiers agreed with the suggestion of Asif.
And soon after that they all began to travel towards the cave and soon climbed up the mountain and after that they all reached near the cave.
After reaching near the cave all of the soldiers got down from their horses and Arif suggested that they should go inside the cave on foot and all the soldiers agreed with his suggestion.
And after that they all began to went inside the cave on their foot. Soon they all reached in front of the cave and then Arif and another soldier began to check the entry path of the cave.
After carefully looking and checking the cave entrance they got satisfied and felt that it is right time to enter inside the cave.
So both Arif and the other soldier signaled the others to follow behind them to enter inside the cave and after their mutual agreement they all followed Arif and another soldier and soon they all began to enter inside the cave.
One thing they all don't have any idea about is that the Bandits who have hidden inside the sand dunes are now out of that and are following behind them slowly slowly.
Soon all the soldiers entered inside the cave and after entering inside they began to search the cave but at the entrance area side they didn't find anyone there.
So they began to explore further deep into the cave and soon they all reached at the central area of the cave and at the moment all Bandits who were hidden in the cave came out and the Bandits following them also joined them and soon all of the Bandits trapped them while they made a circle around them.
