Chapter 49: Cooling Her Down

William gently laid Ava on his bed, her breath was hollow and her features held beams of sweat, could this be that his cold aura wasn't working? How come? He checked her pulse, her skin alone was burning, this wasn't about what happened that caused her to faint out of embarrassment... This was something more.

So he aimed to find the source of the heat taking over her body, he held her firm in his arms and placed a hand on her back, the upper part of it, and that was when he felt it... the source of the heat taking over Ava's body...  if he had just been any other magical being his hand would have burnt off in the heat, but this was nothing he couldn't handle.
