Nicklaus stood straight the moment he saw her wounded arm. He gulped and the only emotion he felt was disappointment.

He was disappointed in himself. How wasn't he able to detect that she would do something crazy? His men had been following her for weeks so, he decided to give her breathing space, and this happened.

Nicklaus's eyes proceeded to her face. Was she fucking crazy? How could she endanger her life this way? With furious eyes, he sat back on the bed and inspect the wound.

He gritted his teeth at her carelessness.

The urge to smack her head was strong as he stared at her sleeping face. She drank with an injury as dangerous as this.

His breath turned furious when he noticed her face tighten. Without words, she let him know she felt pain, even in her sleep. He hissed at her before turning to his lampstand and immediately, he picked up his cell phone.

He was more than mad right now.
