Chapter 144: Family Dinner

Skyler's POV

"Selena!" I exclaimed after I heard my door opening, and I couldn't stop smiling as I got up from bed to meet her, but I felt disappointed when I heard Stanley clear his throat.

"So eager to meet her again?" He asked with delight in his voice, and I knew he was teasing me.

"So what?" I asked as I lay back on my bed and turned my back on him.

"Nothing, I am just glad you stopped being grumpy. Did you know how your voice sounded when you called Selena's name? You sounded like a schoolboy," Stanley responded, and he chuckled.

"Go away, Stanley!" I yelled at him, but instead of leaving, he came closer and settled on the bed beside me.

"How can I go away when I was having so much fun? Do you know I couldn't concentrate during my meeting earlier today after Pam showed me the article on the Internet?" He asked, and I smiled.

"Do I look okay in the article?" I asked as I turned and tried to face him
