Chapter 151: Loyalty

If she had made her move, she would have been spotted by a passing human guard. Now they still had their element of surprise. Together with her mate, they took care of the human guard and his companion.

They carefully laid their bodies against the tree before inching closer to their goal. Blood pumped through their veins as adrenaline flooded their senses. It had been a while since they were on any form of hunt.

"Just those two left," Damien whispered to Safira as he signaled to her.

They had taken care of all the patrolling guards. It seems as if some of the wolves in captivity sensed their presence too. They were looking all around for the sounds only they could hear.

"These merchandises are creeping me the fuck out," one of the mercenaries said to the other.

"I think we're the ones who're creeping the fuck out of you," Safira mused to the mercenary.
