Carter was desperate as she raced into Norfolk. The bond she shared with Traeger was weakening as the destroyer was near death. Scared to the point beyond all reason, the submarine slammed into Arleigh who instantly gripped her. "Carter, slow down!" "Where is she? I need to see her!" Carter gasped, straining against the destroyer's grip. Arleigh grunted as she struggled to hold onto the struggling submarine. "Carter you need to calm down!" She gasped seconds before being slammed into a drydock wall. The blood sent Carter into a frenzy but before she could go in for the kill, another voice broke in.
