Chapter 445: It Came that Way

"Benedito," I cried as the baby started crying at midnight. We had a wonderful dinner with friends but as soon as they walked out of the door the baby started crying once again. We tried to call Hans to come back to help but he drove away from the house so fast and switched off the phone before we got a chance to call him. 

We truly believed he had conspired with Pedro because everyone who knew how to deal with the baby completely shut us down. We worked the whole night to keep the baby quiet and by 10pm he had finally kept quiet but just as Dito and I started to fall asleep he started screaming. 

"How did they make this thing without a mute button?" Benedito hissed as he climbed out of the bed and gathered the baby in his arms, "If Pereira Enterprise and Technology made this I would have put a button."

I sat up in the bed feeling groggy, "I think they rigged ours. It must be a factor fault this one."
