Despite a healthy dose of concern, Dahlia recognised that Valentina wouldn't propose things without reason, so she simply listened as the vampiress explained what she had in mind.

"Alright, I can see the expression you're making and don't worry, I get it, but I have decent reasoning for what I'm proposing. So, in terms of trusted individuals, we have yourself and I, Bessie, Lilli, Esmé, Avery, and Josie that we can fully put our trust in. 

Avery proved themself more than enough already by how consistently they relay high quality information and their casting would be detectable if they tried to be covert. Meanwhile, Josie, despite not getting along with me, has made a heavenly oath to serve you, and so we know she can't betray you. I feel like Lilli, Bessie, and Esmé are obviously on our side and, for the sake of my own sanity, I refuse to second guess them by this point.
