Chapter 310: Two Dawns (Part 2)

By the time they made it to the front desk of the emergency department, the emperor's shoulders were heaving and sweat was dripping down his face. 

Right away, he and Varya were taken to the Imperial Suite. There were certainly perks to be the most influential beings alive at that moment.

Varya had been trying to hide it from Basileus, but her contractions were becoming more and more prevalent. By the time they made it to the room, she had to pause and hold onto something. She couldn't even speak through them anymore. 

All she could do was practice breathing. 

Now that they were in the hospital, Basileus had calmed down some, not wanting to be a point of stress for her and he did everything she needed him to do.
