The next day, they were able to start the journey back to Planet Ptoma once everything was loaded onto the spaceship. Ebari stayed in the captain's suite with Varya, where they discussed the way she should present herself to the emperor.

Ebari knew how to manipulate the emperor enough to gain his favor. He explained that he would want to hear about her loyalty to him - that she would be willing to do anything he asked. The elf-like alien also wanted Varya to explain the possibilities with the aura gun and how it would specifically benefit the emperor or his troops.

Unfortunately, Ebari had to also explain to her how body language or emotions could be easily detected by the emperor. It was almost certain Emperor Kruos would bring up Basileus to try and shake her resolve so Ebari wanted her to prepare for those ahead of time.
