I do NOT recommend this one. The author all of a sudden decided to end this story. Too bad.
stopped at ch 60. I just can't make myself continue reading after that. She made her assistant fill her fridge with food, there was a time where she wanted to cook for herself, and she repeatedly invite the ML and promised to cook for him... but she couldn't cook??? The FL was portrayed as a smart independent woman. she wanted to leave a good impression on ML so he would invest on her project, yet she couldn't think that if she fed him something bad her impression would worsen? that's just stupidity for me. yes, if you like someone you think everything that they do is cute and charming, but she didn't know whether the ML fancied her or not. she should've try to leave a good impression and yet being an idiot instead. the story is too irrational for me. I'd rather read something completely questionable instead

my favorite part of this novel since I started it was the first time the female lead slapped that idiotic sister's of herIt was like releasing the pent up anger for meI really commend the writer for the ability to hold their self back for not give a slap to the idiot for every single sentence that comes out of her freaking mouth

sigh it's a good book but honestly all novels like this fall off later. There's only so long you can keep a person entertained by character misunderstandings and them not solving situations like normal human beings would . It just gets boring and repetitive . Good read if you have nothing else to read
Not just the fl even I felt my blood pressure is rapidly raising Everytime fl vargin mary sis talk with that disgu sting word. I feel like punching her face so bad just to get her brain know what’s right and what’s wrong. 🤬😡
The main story is similar enough to the raws, but this translation changes not only the names but also some characters as a whole. It adds unneccessary subplots and characters, adds on the main story with chapters devoid of development, introduces. Having read here to ch 350 I've considered giving it up due to it's negative impact on my mood and blood pressure. Then I've compared this to the raws and realized that those- the main story- were actually a good dog blood and faceslapping novel. The saintess is an annoying cockroach, but nor to those extremes of this translations (mainly due to the most annoying plots not existong in the raws). It's the additions which make it exaggerated, repetitive and annoying. And the storyline in comparison: chapter ~350 here is roughly chapter 70 of 493 in the raws. I've wasted my coins
This book is one of the best translated fl books on this platform. Despite some mistakes here and there , the translator(s) did a wonderful job.As for the book itself, it has an engaging fl but and quite entertaining plot. At least in the beginning .Because if one looks at the raws , the book has become what it criticized( long story with cockroaches enemies who won't stop until they are put in jail or utterly defeated, every side character seems dumb aside from fl and ml ...).I'll never say it enough. But a slice-of-life shouldn't be more than 200 chapters( at the very least) for it to stay entertaining.
originally i like the synopsis well. i also want to read about yin xun the clever transmigrator. the writing quality is quite good,story development is also quite good,update is quite stable,and world background is also quite good too. oh,character design is good in some character (such as yin cheng and yin xun),but as far as i read this novel,what really ruin this novel (for me) is the character design of the stupid-beyond-compare desperate hoe sister that's called yin mo and the scheming cruel green tea bstard that's called si fan. i've real just a few chapter,but i'm sorry i can't continue to read this again. quite tedious to read chapters/scenes that involve yin mo and si fan,which is almost all chapters.

we all read those novels that we end up stopping bc the fml is so obsessed with ml that she forgive everything. . this is our dream novel what would happen if we end up in that novel as a side character ... so awesome
I was pleasantly surprised by the author’s use of brainpower while writing this. Not only does the MC utilize the police department, they don’t have strangely superhuman hacking, fighting, singing, etc. abilities.
chapters 60-61 made me lose what good opinion of Yin Xun because she went from being a clever and self-aware FL to a comedic slapstick dolt over never cooking EVER before (despite living/studying alone overseas, may be she had hired help) to then attempt to 'impress' Fang Yao to her home-cooked meal? no, it wasn't funny and only felt moronic in the flow of the plot. may be author is trying to show someone can become epically foolish when they are aiming to woo someone (albeit, subtle wooing)? otherwise, I Yin Mo is very unlikeable as per her character design and it is very frustrating that her parents and family lack self-awareness of how they raised her to enhance her natural faults rather than try to mitigate or mute them for a balanced outlook . oh well, parenting is never easy & some turn out different from others in similar environments (which is why as much as baby/children can be so lovable, I abstain from procreating given the upbringing scars I still lick to heal - TMI, i know)
