Chapter 393: Chapter 397 City Hall

It snowed.

The clear, fine weather seemed to have hardly lasted long before another snowfall visited Frost. Starting in the morning, gloomy clouds accumulated above the City-State like leaden blocks; a disorderly cold wind blew incessantly through the streets. By the time it neared noon, snowflakes began to fall thick and fast, from the Upper City District to the Lower City District, from each spire to every squalid alley, the whole City-State was shrouded in hazy, fluttering snowflakes.

The sudden snowfall rendered the streets significantly quieter.

The sound of steam cars braking broke the tranquility of the snowy streets. A deep grey car stopped at the entrance of the city hall, its door opened, and Agatha, dressed in black, stepped down and walked toward the large building in front of her, its façade predominantly a light shade of gray.
