Jane could not believe that Julie's family would go as far as to kidnap the kids. Not just any kids, but their own flesh and blood. And to think that the father was the one to take them broke her heart. 

She was aware of how hard life was for her. But she was not aware of how messed up her mother and Ex was. An affair. Drugs. Kidnapping. All for the sake of being part of a social circle they were in. 

Julie's family was one of the most prominent people in their country. Even if her grandma asked to be out of the family's business, she still had the power to decide things in the company. Kicking them out was the best thing, they were not expecting that type of consequences that would happen. 

"Riley?" she asked the woman sitting on the sofa in the office. Most of the staff were back to their normal chores. All of them were still reeling from what happened to their boss. Julie was more than just their boss, but their friends.
