Chapter 103: Welcome Home

Nine years ago

"You look so big, Julie. Lose some weight!" 

My mom was at it again. Picking on my weight. I had a baby, and she wanted me to lose weight. The fact that I was not even eating properly irked me. Breastfeeding was not easy. Especially if the mother doesn't have proper nutrition. 

I remained silent and just fed Nicole, I could hear my stomach rumbling. I was hungry but, I could not eat unless they were done. It was not something they asked, but more on my own choices when I ate the food they made. 

It felt wrong somehow. I was a freeloader, someone who gives nothing, so in my head, I should wait till everyone was done before I ate. I also have to do all their housework. Well, not all, just the dishes and keeping things tidy after them.
