Chapter 102: Late Breakfast

They had a late breakfast on the patio outside the dining room. From this place, they got an uninterrupted view of the massive garden around them. Somehow, the scenery looked more beautiful than usual. Perhaps, the good mood that they were feeling made everything better.

The food also tasted more delicious, the temperature was perfect, and the conversation was pleasant. Elleard stole glances often at his wife, without him realizing it. She looked really endearing today, he was not sure what exactly had changed.

She also talked more, even though she was still shy. She asked him about his schedule and his work, and if he had plans for the day. She smiled more broadly when she said thank you to their servants for bringing the food and clearing the table, and she commented on the blooming lilies.
