Aslan held Rosie's hand, which felt very soft. He pulled the girl closer and lay beside him. 

"Aslan?" called Rosie because her husband was suddenly acting strange.

"You want me to explain about magic?" Aslan asked.

Rosie nodded quickly. "If you do not mind."

Aslan couldn't help but smile a little when he saw Rosie's sparkling eyes. He compared it to Princess Roseanne's cold gaze. He liked this one better, and he hoped the sparkling in the girl's eyes would stay with him.

"Alright, magic…. Everyone has the opportunity to do it. No special skills required. Even a roadside beggar could do it if he wanted to. However, to become a magician requires considerable effort. It took years of study with great dedication."
