Jerusalem
It was a scorching afternoon in the Holy City of Jerusalem. The sun's rays were beating down mercilessly on the land. Outside one of the city gates, a scene rarely witnessed was happening.
The air quivered with tension and fear as a small caravan of mounted Knight Templars made its way. Their white robes and tunics reflected the sun, making them an eyesore to all who were on the road. While their steeds, and wagon wheels dug into the ground stirring up clouds of dust which hung like a shroud over the road and its users. Some pedestrians cursed and spat on the ground at the sight of these Christian foreigners.
Most Arabs had never reconciled themselves to the fact that just a few years back, this land which was considered theirs (Arabian) was ruled by the Templars who even formed a kingdom (Kingdom of Jerusalem). Now, here they were riding brazenly before them, it was a bitter reminder.
