"I beg your pardon?" Vanessa asked, wondering why he was picking on her choice of clothes.

"Your clothes are not appropriate for the weather," Alex pointed out to Vanessa, and she raised a brow.

"They are not? Is this also some sort of company policy? Do I need to change my wardrobe every season to suit the company's taste?" She bit out irritably, and Alex frowned, wondering what she was talking about.

What was she talking about? He mused, and then he almost groaned when it clicked in his head, and he realized what she was thinking. Oh, God! Why did he always have to be misunderstood by her?
