Chapter 65: Start

"The mission is to search near the southern border of the Kingdom of Austria. Count Tellel's son seems to be missing nearby. Each group will divide the area and report any clues or missing persons."

When it was confirmed that the mission was a simple search and report, the faces of the assembled cadets were somewhat tense.

"After reporting?"

"When the target's survival is confirmed, the new guards will be dispatched to begin the rescue mission. You and your cadets will return. But if the target has already been killed, the mission will be terminated unless there is an additional request."

"Simple."

"Yes, but since you will most likely encounter a cult, you should move carefully."

"They are the same type that caused trouble in the Duchy. Duke Raion exterminated all these groups here, but on the border with the Kingdom of Austria they still run as the masters of the place."

"Yes, especially, the northern part of the Kingdom on the border with the abyssal plane wall is an active part of these cults, so you should be more careful."

"Don't ignore the demonic primate beasts, they have a nest very close to that place."

Demonic Primates. They are, as their name suggests, a race that resembles a monkey, and were especially famous among the warriors of the Kingdom of Austria for their excellent fighting skills.

"Sir, if you encounter the Demonic Primates, all apprentices must immediately abandon their mission and escape."

"I know that no matter how good the beginner class is this year, I can't help it. Don't worry."

Yoggi smiled.

"I'm not worried. I know better than you about this year's cadets. But there's always an unexpected danger in the world."

Looking directly at Raimon. Yoggi smiled.

"You say it's inevitable that a dangerous situation will happen, Yoggi."

"You've been caught. I'm looking forward to seeing these guys overcome the situation."

"Okay director. Let me know when all the people who will be participating in the mission are assembled."

"Good."

The mission began and everyone quickly set off on foot after getting some materials for the trip, it was all part of the test, preparation, enthusiasm, and protective measures.

First, they had to run to the meeting place with their group leaders and then plan little by little the steps to follow for the two groups.

Raimon kept some distance from the two with Reineza and his escort silently observing the changes, Eclipse was still in his butterfly form so as not to attract too much attention. Although this mission was only aimed at the student anything could happen so Raimon tried to hide Eclipse's existence as a trump card.

"Eh. Ya..."

"If you can't, follow me slowly. But if you can, follow me with all your might."

He didn't have the luxury of giving up since he was the eldest son of the Fowler family; he had to do everything he could to defeat everyone.

Thomas struggled down the sandy path with a strong determination.

That was when. A voice came from behind him.

"Stand up."

"Kak, ugh."

"Even if it's hard, don't inhale through your mouth, use your nose. Don't turn your ankle, use your foot."

"Pant, pant, pant, pant!"

A beautiful girl's voice and the sound of panting.

Thomas knew who the voices belonged.

"Jill, William, and Sthephy..."

A strange combination of the genius of the Kingdom of Austria and the person without antecedents of the Duchy Flower.

Sthephy took care of William for a short time and most of the time was devoted to his training, like Rose.

However, seeing the two of them together was strange.

All the fellows who followed Thomas in his group couldn't take their eyes off the two of them.

I don't have to worry about that.

But Thomas Fowler didn't care.

He was curious about their relationship, but the two had nothing to do with him.

First of all, one has a talent that can't be surpassed.

He didn't think so at first. Thomas thought he could overcome them, that there was no need to be afraid of how strong Rose and Sthephy were.

But now he knew his precious body couldn't do that.

And William Thorn...

'...he's quite the opposite.'

A beast, a monster who never awakened his blood aura in his life and entered the school using the surname of his fallen noble family.

No matter how hard he tried, there was no way William could get through to Thomas.

No, even if he fought, William would never rise through the ranks.

Now, because of the apprentices' taunts, and thanks to Rose and Sthephy's support, he was working hard...

"As soon as he gets used to this, he'll start to exploit his potential."

"It's not something an ordinary person has, my lineage is at most 8 stars his is so scary, I don't see the end of his potential."

There was a reason a bum is called a bum.

There was no lie in those rumors.

After thinking, Thomas looked away from them.

And began to run down the road.

"The goal is to be second and have a good relationship with Young Master Raimon."

"Pfff, pfff!"

"Come on you can, Sir Thomas!"

The apprentices who followed Thomas took their leave at the entrance of the Academy with serious expressions.

Although they were nothing compared to the best, they were putting in enough effort, something people their age would not do.

So, they were thinking along similar lines to Thomas. It was not worth considering William and everyone on this mission as their opponent.

Even the trainees of the lower ranks were weaker than William after these months.

Either way, William Thorn was someone who was doing the best he could and had already left many people behind by sheer talent.

Time passed.

Ten days and then another two days.

It had been a few days since the trainees had entered the assessment and had met with their leaders.

Everyone was slowly getting used to their daily routine.

Anthos' evaluation was absolute. In other words, there was no need to compete to stay in the school.

If things went on like this, everyone could pass without losing an apprentice, only the danger of this mission was still unclear.
