Chapter 372: CH. 369: I Can Be More

"What happened?" Adam asked.

He visited Wesley in his underground laboratory, only to find him with bags under his eyes and messy hair.

His clothes were messy as well. 

"Heather's brother was involved in a shootout," Wesley started with a grumble.

"So Wesley sent a whole load of designs asking me- more like demanding me to finish them all in a week."

He messed up his hair even more when he made a mistake in what he was working on.

"That slave driver," he muttered with gritted teeth.

"Oh."

Wesley frowned when the reaction he received was too lackluster.

"And what is your problem?" he asked, seeing as Adam's look wasn't far from his own.

Adam sighed, he came here to ask Wesley for his opinion but it seems he was too busy at the moment.

"Nothing. Continue what you are doing. I was just checking on you since you seemed to be too busy at the moment," he replied, acting like he truly came down to check on Wesley's work.
