Chapter 158: Clean up the mess

Bai Liyue chuckled, refusing his offer to help. "Thanks....." she smiled gently and shook her head. "But, I think I can manage this on my own. Knowing who my enemies are enough to help me in devising and strategizing my plan."

"So you don't want this?" he asked, waving the envelope in his hand.

Bai Liyue eyed the envelope and shook her head. "No. You can keep that."

Qin Yufeng raised his brows. "You sure?"

Bai Liyue bit her lips, but her mind was absolutely resolute and unwavering. Yes! She needed that envelope. She wanted to look at the proofs but then that would mean accepting Qin Yufeng's condition. She didn't want to lead him on something that she knew wasn't going to be a part of her life - marriage and love relationship. 

"I am sure," she spoke with determination.
