"What made it complicated, Ty?" I heard Neil ask, but I didn't know how to answer him, and he was waiting for my reply as he held his bottle of beer.

"You are single and never got married. It has been a long time since it happened; maybe it is about time you should give yourself a break and enjoy your life." He added.

"I am enjoying my life, Neil. I am happy raising my daughter, and you know I must consider Anika before I will decide to commit to a relationship; besides, Arabella has become different; I don't even know how to have a decent conversation with her without making her angry with me." I responded.

"Yeah, you are right; Arabella became a handful, she used to be so sweet and full of life, and right now, all you can see on her face is her anger towards the world," Neil replied.

"Aren't you going to tell her about the financial support you gave her?" He asked.
