Chapter 251: Leave the thinking to him

"Don't worry, they won't poison you." Lexi reassured him. And she commanded the butterflies to crowd around Lucien.

"My butterflies are harmless."

Lucien is already around the corner and has no escape route. Hence, he insisted on covering his nose with his two hands. He hated the smell of drugs. Every bit of his bones despised coming in contact with it. 

When the butterflies succeeded in coming onto him, a sweet nectar smell was produced.

Unlike earlier, it did not smell like drugs, rather..

The unique smell made him remember the familiar smell of burnt wood, the extreme heat, and the unique scent of the little protagonist under his nostrils. His whole body shivered as the familiar sensation of being held tightly swept over him, as if Aiden was there and was hugging him in his arms.
