Chapter 69: One Of A Kind

Lady Gisella looked at the Princess in surprise.

"Don't look at me like Lady Gisella. I am not joking. I want to know what will happen if they know I am injured?" Princess Eleanor asked in a soft tone as if she was eager to know the answer.

"They will ask the Grand Duke to be responsible for it." Lady Gisella said as she looked outside of the carriage. "They would ask the escort to take responsibility."

Princess Eleanor smiled as if she was expecting it. "Anyways, the Lady was telling me why are all of them wearing a mask?" Princess Eleanor wanted to know. She was eager as it was an unusual thing to ask the knights to wear a mask.

"The Emperor does not tell the Grand Duke. Even though he is his nephew the bond between them is weak. So when the Emperor asked the Grand Duke to send the knights there he refused."

"The Grand Duke refused?" Princess Eleanor raised her eyebrows in confusion. She could not understand where this was leading.
