Chapter 4: CHAPTER 2 : The Day I met Death
I was born in a middle class family. My Mom was a primary school teacher in the nearby village, Gariali Pam . And my Father was a manager of the Hotel Dynasty in Guwahati. So in my childhood days my father had to stay far from me and Mom, but he frequently visited us.
Soon after 2-3 years after my birth we shifted to a place called Silpukhuri in Guwahati. The place where we stayed was on top of a hill and there was a waterfall nearby and also a lot of monkeys playing around. The monkeys would enter the house steal food, mess up things around and do all those notorious things. Actually my Mom was afraid of the monkeys and she even thought that the monkeys would take away her child. Yeah she too innocent and she saw all these stuffs in TV serials . Aaah !!! Leave that.
Till now everything seemed to go well and good but then the day came when I met death.
A normal day turned to a horrible nightmare. I was suffering from serious cold and fever. I was also continuosly vomitting and I felt like I am gonna die.
But then there arrived a hero in my life , he was non other than my Dad. He took me to the nearby hospital for the treatment. But it seems like luck doesn't always favour me , the doctor was on leave and his absence made the condition even more worse. So I was taken to a different hospital which was at a distance. There I was treated and I survived my death...
All thanks to my parents because of whom I am able to write this story...
