Chapter 56: The brawl

Ursula's POV

I silently parked just before Vincenzo Santoro's house as I gathered myself together. I was so nervous, and my facial expression exuded just that. As much as I wanted to be sure Marco was okay, I dreaded contacting Vincenzo. 

It was no secret I wasn't his biggest fan. In fact, after the recent stunt he pulled, Roy had gone further up my list than he had. My phone rang, and I didn't need to check before knowing who was calling.

"What are you doing calling me. What if I was in front of Vincenzo," I said into the phone as soon as I answered.

"Well, you answered, so yay! You're not with Vincenzo," she replied, and I rolled my eyes.

"Look, Marie, I'm still trying to work up my nerves to get into Vincenzo's compound. I don't think now is exactly the right time to crack jokes."
