Eleanore’s POV

‘Are you sure this is all of it?’ I asked Claudius as I looked up from the handful of books that he had managed to gather from the library. The books were records, much like he had shown me before, of the pack and all its dealings from before Rhett and Hayden had become alphas, even dating to a time before their great grandfather was alpha himself.

“I’m afraid so, not much apart from the titles of this pack had been recorded up until recent years I’m afraid. An oversight on our part to be sure, but wolves didn’t much busy themselves with the dealings of records and books—those were more often associated with mages.”

I nodded as I listened to Claudius speak. He came up from one of the other shelves that had been labeled as ‘history’ with nothing but a simple green book. I sighed as I placed the book down that I had read through prior, not finding anything that I had hoped to find here.

“What is it exactly you are looking for, Eleonore?”
