Spurred on by Nicole's advice, he decided to promote right away. There was a lingering concern in the back of his head on how long it would take to get points, but they disappeared when he remembered his previous near-death experiences that he only barely escaped by literally becoming a monster.

It wasn't the promotion text that he was familiar with, but he pressed yes anyway. While he was prepared for a sudden change, he was instead presented with another prompt.
