Chapter 47: WHAT IF I CAN?

Linda turned her gaze only to find Esmeralda smiling at her, she internally sighed, and she guessed Esmeralda must have seen her interaction with Petro that's why she is giving her this entire smile.

She actually is the one at fault, if she hadn't gazed at Petro earlier and the jerk didn't wink at her then Esmeralda won't have seen the both of them. Now she wonders what must be going on in that head of hers, Esmeralda must be thinking she and Petro have something going on between them which is not the issue here.

Linda cursed her bad luck, not only is she been made the chairman of E & F to handle the board despite her not having any interest at all in addressing any board members, especially those old folks.

She exhales, but does she have a choice? She obviously has to do as she was told or be left without a job. Because she will not be looking for work outside when E & F still exists after all she also has done been in the company for the past years.
