Chapter 100: Saving Shizue

"Isn't this the guy we met when we entered the great Jura forest?" said Kaval to his party members while running for his life.
Eren responded hurriedly "Yes, he seems o know Shizu-san"
Shizue watched silently as Yuki rushed in front of them while Kaval's party warned him hurriedly "Be careful, these ants are A- Ranks!"
However, Yuki didn't even hear their words as the only thing in his mind was his clarity stone and Quest so he rushed at Shizue with wide bloodshot eyes!
Shizue's heart skipped a beat and for an instant as she thought that Yuki was coming after her instead of the ants… but then he passed by her and rushed at the ants making her heave a sigh of relief "ouf that was scary" she muttered before she stopped running and turned to watch the fight and Kaval's party did the same as their leader yelled "Prepare to assist him!"
However, just as he issued these orders, Yuki rushed at one ant and ripped its head off with his bare hands before he threw it with his full strength at two more ants creating see-through holes in their chests!
Then Yuki simply went on a rampage as ant legs and heads flew all over the place including in front of Kaval's party making them tremble in fear at the power of the man in front of them whose long white hair and fit body were covered completely in ants blood while ripping them apart with a crazed look on his eerie green eyes…
"Who the hell is this guy?" Muttered Eren while taking a few steps back from Yuki who turned around and started walking toward them after having finished off all the ants... Or toward Shizue to be more precise
"Shizue-chan, I missed you" Said Yuki while rushing to give her a hug, but Shizue quickly dodged with a speed even faster than when she was running from the ants as if her life depended on it… No one likes to get hugged by a crazy person covered in ants' blood, would they?
"It has been a while, Yuki-san" Said Shizue politely while Kaval finally regained his calm and said "You guys know each other?"
Shizue nodded silently at him while Yuki turned to them and said "Oh, it's you guys, come give me a hug"
"No thanks" replied the three of them without hesitation while Yuki thought 'Tch, can't steal anything from them, let's try it again later'
Not long after, a slime came rushing on top of a wolf and a huge and muscular hobgoblin was following him, a weird scene for these adventurers as they saw the slime jump and land in front of Yuki and ask "Yuki, is everything okay?"
"Yes, don't worry, help me clean this blood" Said Yuki but Rimuru immediately tried to run away "I told you before I'm not your cleaner—"
However, Yuki was faster and caught him before he started threatening him which made Rimuru clean his body reluctantly before Yuki threw him at the ants for him to predator on them and gain some skills…
"Who's this slime?" Asked Eren curiously and Yuki calmly said "He's the leader of the village I live in currently, come I will take you there, you guys are probably tired" Yuki's words were actually directed at Shizue since he noticed that she was barely holding on and was about to lose her control over Ifrit at any moment…
"Wait, that slime is a leader of a village?" Kaval found this very weird but Yuki simply shrugged and said "It's a long story… you explain it"
Rigurd who used to be the elder of the goblin village began bragging happily about their lord and the huge settlement they built while flexing his muscles from time to time to show off which annoyed Yuki to no end...
"Oh, this is the first time we are going to receive humans as guests" Said Rimuru who finished devouring the ants as he approached the group, and Yuki couldn't help but think 'Why, am I not human enough for you you little pile of snot?'
"We will gladly accept your invitation" Said Shizue startling the party, but they trusted her and Yuki had just saved them so they decided to follow them back to the village and they were in for a treat since they didn't expect to find an advanced monster settlement!

Inside the village, Yuki left Rimuru to handle Kaval's party before he dragged Shizue to his house to have some private talk with her
"Oh, Shizue-san it has been a while" Said Sacha delighted to see her, and gave her a hug while Kayle calmly nodded at her in greeting
'Tch, why didn't you dodge her' thought Yuki hatefully before he heard Shizue said to him "Thank you for saving me, I don't think I would have survived if I used my power there"
"It's nothing" Said Yuki and stared at Shizue eerily until she understood what he wanted making her chuckle slightly before she took out the clarity stone from her pouch and gave it to him
"Here, I need to return this to you, it helped me a lot until now" Said Shizue, and Yuki hurriedly picked it up and absorbed it through his path of evolution ability which finally made his lost sanity return to him as a notification appeared in front of him.

'Nice' thought Yuki before he turned his attention to Shizue and asked "What took you so long to come?" After all, they agreed to meet after only two weeks and he intentionally took his time during his journey to the dwelling of spirits just so they get to meet right away but now a whole month and a half passed before she came…
Shizue had a sad look on her face as she said "I'm sorry, I had to take care of the kids, and when I sensed that the end of my life was nearing, I decided to spend as much time with them as possible…"
Yuki nodded at her in understanding but the gears of his mind were turning at a rapid speed 'No, this is definitely not the case.. this probably has something to do with the reason why she doesn't try to actively find a solution to her problem… I'm pretty sure this is from Yuuki's mind control…"
"Well, I think I have a solution to save you…" Said Yuki which made Shizue's eyes widen in shock before she shook her head and said "I don't want to stay as a majin even if it means I could live longer... I rather die"
Yuki could see the determination in her eyes and gently said "I know, I will help you live as a human"
Shizue's hand shivered slightly as she stared at Yuki hopefully and asked "Can you really do it?" After all, who would choose death over life when they can live the life they want...
"I can!" Said Yuki before he turned to Kayle and said "call Rimuru over here, I need his help in something"
"Yes sir" Replied Kayle before he went to get Rimuru…
"What are you planning to do?" Asked Shizue curiously and Yuki simply shrugged and said "I'm planning to deal with that greater spirit of yours first, and I need that slime to minimize the trouble"
"That slime…" muttered Shizue curiously and decided to wait and see how this was going to unfold…

Not long after, Rimuru came to Yuki's huge house where they were all staying and asked "What do you need me for, Yuki—" But then he caught sight of Shizue who wasn't wearing her mask, and froze slightly 'Is she Japanese?' He thought before he heard Yuki say
"This is Shizue, I want to help her… can you offer me your assistance?" asked Yuki and Rimuru hurriedly said "Of course no problem"
"Don't get any dirty thoughts, I'm not going to ask you for help to clean her body" said Yuki with an evil smile which made Rimuru stutter to defend himself "I-I-I wasn't thinking like that at all"
"Good, I don't believe you" Said Yuki with a nod before he turned to Shizue and said "Yo ifrit can you hear me? I'm Leon's friend, would you like to come out peacefully or the hard way?"
Just as Yuki said this, Shizue clutched her chest in pain prompting Yuki to say "The hard way it is"
"What's going on?" Asked Rimuru startled by Shizue's reaction but Yuki simply said "Say Aaa" Before he picked Shizue up gently…
"What do you want me to do?" Asked Rimuru puzzled which made Yuki frown at how slow he was and said "use your predator ability to devour the greater spirit inhabiting her body"
"Oh, sure" said Rimuru after realizing what was going on with great sage's help and went to do the task… A huge roar echoed from his body after he swallowed Shizue before he spat her out and she seemed very tired...
"I didn't expect such a cute girl to have a monster like that inside of her" said Rimuru and Yuki couldn't help but shoot him a weird look and say "You can't phrase that in a worse way if your life depends on it and I can prove it!"
"I-I didn't mean it that way and please don't, I believe you" Replied Rimuru hurriedly while retreating away from Yuki, but then he saw him retrieve a potion…
It was the enhanced version of the set of strengthening elixirs that the great sage came up with and it even turned them into one potion. Unlike the first version which increased strength by 20, speed by 5, and vitality by 20.
This enhanced version increased Strength by 40, speed by 10, and vitality by 40, a double in effect! Something that could only be achieved by something like great sage. Although it said It would take it years to come up with a better version… Not to mention that the ingredients to make it were so rare and they were only able to find enough to make two of them so far...
"Now then, let's hope this works" Said Yuki before he raised Shizue into a sitting position and helped her drink the potion
"No I can't, this is too much" Said Shizue in a weak voice knowing that this gift was too precious but Yuki didn't care and simply shoved the potion in her mouth before he whispered in her ears "You better open your mouth and drink it before I shove it somewhere else"
Shizue's pale face couldn't help but turn a shade redder, and it wasn't from the potion she just drunk hurriedly in fear of that threat…
Then, her body started squirming slowly before color started returning to her pale skin and life to her somber eyes!
"I feel... alive?" Said Shizue while standing up and checking her body and she felt stronger than she ever did before…
"I'm glad this worked, but this is just a temporary solution, how long can she live Rimuru?" asked Yuki suddenly and Rimuru remained silent, probably questioning great sage before he gave his answer "Three months"
"Ummm not bad, I will find a solution to completely restore your body in these three months so don't worry" said Yuki while shooting her a thumbs up but suddenly, Shizue's eyes started watering and tears started falling from her eyes like an endless stream...
"Don't cry" said Yuki, not knowing what to do but Shizue simply held into his clothes and put her head on his chest, and cried her heart out… Years of suffering, Years of not accepting herself, years of living with the monster that killed her childhood friend were finally over and she even got to live after so how can she not cry, how can she not feel grateful for the man in front of her that saved her from her haunting past…
While Shizue was crying, Yuki hugged her gently, but not without shooting Rimuru an evil look and spelled silently 'V I R G I N'
'I hope you die a terrible death you devil' thought Rimuru before he rushed out of Yuki's house…
