***ADDIE'S POV***

"What do you mean?" I found the strength and courage to ask the woman what she was talking about. "Why will it be too late? What truth do you speak of?"

"This woman is sick, and she is suffering from something that is incurable." 

"Then why did you say it will be too late? If it's incurable, isn't it already too late?" Nolan asked her, his tone angry and filled with rage. 

"What I meant was that if the people that know her do not hurry, it will be too late to save her. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to save her now. But you can all say goodbye."

"What is the meaning of this? There are very few incurable diseases that affect our kind. The likelihood of that being the problem is extremely slim."
