It seemed like we were all so very busy now. With the investigation starting to ramp up after that magic tool that Nolan and Hawkin created, with the help of my wonderful niece, Addie, of course. She is so crafty and smart that I just can't believe it sometimes. I am proud of her though. So much more than she probably realizes.

All those years ago, when my brother and sister in-law were murdered, when the two of them and their children were killed in the dead of night, I had never thought that there was a child that had survived. And I will admit that I didn't believe it at first. When Dominic told me about Addie and how she had come to him, I told him he was an idiot.
