Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Meeting
The flowery coffee aroma lingered in the air, the white cups, and the smell of sweet desserts. The ambiance of the cafe, its homey aroma, draw people's souls into its cocoon for a few blessed moments.
In that small homey cafe, a beautiful woman is quietly drawing in the corner. She looks relatively peaceful despite the evident tiredness shown on her face. Her chocolate hair flutters freely in her back, and her hazel eyes are plastered in the paper, high bridge nose, and kissable pink lips. She's undoubtedly a beautiful woman.
A half-empty coffee cup, smartphone, and a few sketchbooks and paper are scattered on the table. The woman seems to be absorbed in her world. The scene looks like something out of a painting that made people take a second glance and capture the moment but this peaceful scene didn't last long when the phone on the table vibrate and new messages appeared on the screen that seem to terribly terrify the girl.

[Come back here within 10 minutes or else...]
[I don't know what will happen to this brat!]
Reading the text messages of her 'husband' made Avery widen her eyes in horror.
[Don't hurt Rhea!!]
[I'm coming right away!!]
Avery replied in a hurry and sloppily pack her things that is scattered on the table. It took less than a minute for Avery to pack her things. She immediately stand up and bolted at the entrance. However, because of her urgency. Avery accidentally bumps into someone and falls into her butt. Avery immediately pick up her things in a hurry, and hastily apologize without looking at the person, and bolted out.
Avery's action may look rude from an outside perspective but Avery couldn't care less. Her thoughts were just 'I need to get there or my baby angel might get hurt'.
She couldn't afford to be late even by a margin of a second because she didn't know what that monster will do to her daughter nor did she want to know. She just know that if she didn't get there in 10 minutes, her daughter might get hurt.

The high sunlit clouds drifted across the blue sky, the cool breeze caresses Riley's cheeks. After Riley settles in the hotel, she goes to find a nearby coffee shop.
The coffee shop was located in the town square, a marquee overlooked by the stone lions. Around the edges were food vendors, giving the middle of the town a sort of market atmosphere.
The coffee shop of white cups and black coffee, of small jugs filled with cream, has that ambiance of friendly chatter. Here you can have your seat, gain the feeling of being social, yet have the confidence that you can enjoy your contemplations at leisure.
The moment Riley push open the glass door, a chime melody of bell ring in her ears and at the same time, the aroma of coffee entered her nostrils. She looks around but didn't notice the girl heading her way and its urgency. The woman bumps into her and falls onto her butt. Riley look at the woman who fall onto the floor and was about to lend a hand but the woman seem to be in a hurry as she only packs and gathers the things she drop, and hurriedly apologize then bolted away.
Riley was dumbfounded and couldn't quite react to what had just happened. Riley was about to ignore and forget the woman who is like a wind when she notice from the corner of her eye a piece of paper. She picks it up.
'It must be from that woman'
Riley looks back hoping to find the shadow of the woman but unfortunately, she is no longer in the surrounding area.
Riley look at the paper in hand and saw a sketch of a gorgeous dress. The drawing was detailed and beautiful. Each stoke was drawn with elegance and there is no unnecessary stroke. The dress itself was one of a kind and the design is unique. It is both elegant and fashionable. Riley is immediately fascinated by the drawing and decided to keep it for now.
Riley push the encounter just now at the back of her mind and order a coffee then sat at the corner beside the glass window and read a book about Science.
Unbeknownst to Riley and Avery that this encounter was going to change their life... If it is for the better or worst. It is not yet known!
